Claire Sweeney couldn't have looked happier as she showed off her baby bump on the red carpet. The 43-year-old actress, who was attending a special screening of Jersey Boys in London's West End on Monday night, certainly had that pregnancy glow about her. The former Brookside star opted for a teal maxi gown, which complemented her blossoming figure and radiant tan. She finished her look with peep-toe gold shoes and a matching gold clutch.

The mum-to-be seemed to have had a ball of a time, mingling with fellow musical stars including Beverley Knight and Britain's Got Talent winners Collabro. Posting onTwitter at the end of the night, Claire wrote: "Lovely night at Jersey Boys movie premier (sic)," followed by another post calling the stage production "brilliant".

The TV presenter, who split from her fiancé Daniel Reilly a month before she found out that she was expecting, also used Twitter to announce her pregnancy. "Thrilled to say my show that I co-wrote Sex and the Suburbs has opened to rave reviews," she wrote in May. "But the BEST news is I'm 5 months pregnant!!" Software tycoon Daniel, 28, also echoed his former fiancée's sentiments, writing, "I'm going to be a Dad! Love you already son. Blessed." The pair, who got engaged on Christmas Eve 2012, have remained on good terms.

Claire's agent, Jonathan Shalit, released a statement on behalf of the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, saying that she and Daniel were "absolutely delighted" to be expecting their first child. "Claire could not be happier," said Jonathan. "To be pregnant and starring in her own show in her home town of Liverpool is all her dreams come true at once." The Walton-born star has sadly suffered two miscarriages in the past – the first when she was ten weeks pregnant and the second when she was one month pregnant.
