Doting mother Alessandra Ambrosio marked her daughter's birthday on Sunday, and gave her fans a sneak peek inside the celebrations. The supermodel's eldest child, Anja, turned six and was treated to a fun rainbow-themed party, featuring coloured balloons and a tiered rainbow cake.

"My favourite princess," Alessandra captioned a photo that showed her cuddled up with the birthday girl, dressed for the occasion in a bright multi-coloured sundress.

The party also included a bouncy house and a pool for Anja and her friends to cool off in.

It was held in an undisclosed location, although

Alessandra tagged the snaps as "somewhere over the rainbow."

As a working mom, I need something that will go from day to night and something that you really don't need to think too much about," she told E!. "I wanted to do something easy for women."
Alessandra often takes Anja to red carpet events, where she steals the show with her cute clothes and cheeky poses. Proud Alessandra has previously revealed that her little girl takes after her when it comes to fashion, too. "My daughter, she loves fashion," she said. "She's a little fashionista. She has her own personality and style, and she loves playing with mommy's clothes!"She also seems to be following in her mum's modelling footsteps, having already starred in two campaigns.Anja made her modelling debut in 2012, when she posed alongside Alessandra in a campaign for London Fog.
