Shakira is expecting a baby boy with her footballer love Gerard Pique. The Waka Waka singer, who confirmed that she was pregnant last month, will no doubt be thrilled to welcome another little boy – the "perfect playmate" for her 19-month-old son Milan. Shakira's parents Nidia Ripoll and William Mebarak Chadid revealed the news to HELLO!'s sister publication HOLA!.

Gerard Pique and Shakira are expecting another son

"We're very happy," said Nidia and William. "She's having another baby boy – a playmate for Milan." "We don't know anything about names yet," they added. Speculation that the pop star was expecting again surfaced when Shakira, 37, was spotted wearing looser clothing and appeared to be concealing a tiny baby bump. "Yes, we are expecting our second baby!! Thank you all for your well wishes!" Shakira told her near 27million Twitter followers in late August.

Shakira and Gerard Pique are already parents to baby boy Milan

Shakira and FC Barcelona star Gerard, 27, welcomed their first bundle of joy in January 2013. The couple, who have been together for four years, are clearly besotted with parenthood as Shakira often updates her fans on baby Milan's development with photos on Twitter. The cute tot is frequently pictured giggling and in hysterics as he is entertained by his loving parents. Milan seems to be taking after his father as he recently showed off his own football skills when he appeared in a charity video kicking a ball, encouraged by his proud mum. The Hips Don't Lie singer has said in the past that her son has completely changed her outlook. "Everything is different," Shakira told Ocean Drive magazine. "Maybe the biggest change is that I think about the future more, what the world will be like for him when he grows up."
