Mila Kunis introduces baby to friends and family who say she was 'born to be a mum'

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are wholeheartedly embracing their new parenting roles. It seems the couple, who welcomed their first child last week, were "born" to be parents to daughter Wyatt Isabelle. While the actress, 31, has been taking her little bundle of joy for short walks around the neighbourhood, new dad Ashton, 36, is "ready to do anything" for his firstborn.

Ashton Kutcher is said to be 'ecstatic' about the arrival of his baby daughter

"Mila was born to be a mum," a source told People. "She is a kid herself and will be the best mum ever. She will never be a glamour-puss. Their lives will change, but not nearly as drastically as other couples, because they were so ready to be parents and knew what responsibilities they had in store." The insider added: "Ashton has wanted to be a parent for so long. He is ready to do anything necessary to take care of the baby. He is ecstatic." The family-of-three are said to have spent their first weekend at home, with Mila and Ashton proudly introducing their baby to friends and close relatives. "They have been getting lots of flower deliveries and gift baskets," a second source said. "You can tell that they are loved by many people. Mila looks great and very happy."

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's engagement was announced in February

With a roster of films and TV shows under her belt – including Ted, Black Swan and That '70s Show – it sounds like the accomplished actress is ready to prioritise parenthood. "I can't see anything coming between her and the baby," a source added. "If that means changing her course for awhile, she likely will. But for now, nobody can really predict. They'll have to see how things go.

"Timing is everything in life, and now the time belongs to this amazing new family. I believe Mila and Ashton will put the baby first." The Hollywood couple welcomed their daughter on Tuesday 30 September at celebrity favourite Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and on Thursday proud dad Ashton made the big announcement on Twitter. In February it was revealed that Ashton and Mila were engaged – one month before reports emerged that the actress was pregnant. "I'm excited about being a full-time mum," Mila said at the time.
