The couple had been together for eight years before they decided to tie the knot in front of 300 guests in Solvang, California in 2012. Close friends in attendance included Cobie's former co-stars Alyson Hannigan and Neil Patrick Harris. Earlier this year the popular sitcom came to an end after nine seasons and 28 Emmy awards. The cast and crew bid an emotional farewell, with Cobie giving a special mention to the show's fans, writing on Twitter: "Thank you to everyone who worked on HIMYM and to the fans who kept us on the air for the last 9 years!!! What a wonderful ride!" Allyson – who plays Lily – meanwhile, shared a photo of a bumper pack of tissues ahead of the finale, captioning it: "This is what I brought to #PamFryman to watch #HIMYMFarewell."

Fans won't have to wait for too long to catch a glimpse of Cobie and her growing baby bump as the actress is set to promote her new film Avengers: Age of Ultron, which is due for release in 2015. Cobie recently wrapped the movie's prequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier earlier this year. At the time of welcoming her first child, she appeared on The Bonnie Hunt Show admitting that while she only had an average of four hours sleep a night, motherhood was "the best".
