Former X Factor contestant Rebecca Ferguson is the proud mother of a new baby girl called Arabella.
Her third child was born earlier this week, after Rebecca updated fans on Twitter about her "slow labour". On Saturday night, she took to the social media site again to talk about her "angel" and "beautiful little doll". "I don't want to sleep I just want to look at her," wrote Rebecca. "Thank you for all the love and support will update you all tommorow my angel is here xx."
"She is so perfect ? my arabella is like a beautiful little doll xxx," the 28-year-old added, followed by: "Can't put her down she is ruined already ?☺☺☺ such a happy mum xxx ?????."
The blissful mum has already been gifted with her first baby present - a pair of white, floral-patterned shoes with her tot's name embroidered onto the side. "Awww look what my sister and step mummy got arabella xxx," she captioned the Instagram snap.
Rebecca revealed the news of the pregnancy in April, telling her 800,000 followers on Twitter: "Yes I am having a new lovely baby. Children are such a blessing and I'm grateful to god for my new little gift." The father of the little one is said to be her partner of more than one year, who prefers to stay out of the limelight. Rebecca is already mum to Lillie May and Karl from a previous relationship.
In 2013, the I Hope singer told The Mirror that she had begun dating a longstanding friend. "He leaned in for kiss and I realised he liked me," she said, recalling the day he came round to watch a DVD as a friend. "We've been together a year now and he looks after the kids. He goes fishing with my son. "Speculation was rife that the singer was expecting earlier this year when she collapsed during a live performance on the set of Loose Women and had to be put into the recovery position by co-host Myleene Klass.
Rebecca rose to fame as a runner up on The X Factor in 2010. She ended up in the final along with One Direction, although the eventual winner was Matt Cardle.She went on to date Zayn Malik of One Direction, who is now engaged to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, for four months. The pair split after admitting they found the media attention difficult to deal with.Now the singer is on to a happy new chapter in her life, which has included recording her third album in LA this year.
