Liv Tyler is fully embracing the last stages of her pregnancy. The Lord of the Rings actress enlisted the help of Girls star Jemima Kirke to paint a portrait of her showing off her prominent baby bump.

"Beautiful talented special totally 1 of a kind dear friend Jemima Kirke @rafaizzy painting me!!!!!!," Liv captioned a picture of Jemima, who has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design.

"So fun to be painted by a friend!!!! @rafaizzy Brooklyn ny," she added alongside another photo of herself showing her bare bump.

Liv, whose father is Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, has long been friends with mum-of-two Jemima – whose dad is English rocker and Bad Company drummer Simon Kirke.

The Lord of the Rings actress' dad regrammed the picture and asked: "HEY WHAT'S IT GONNA BE... GIMME A HINT MAYBE? NOTHING IN THIS WORLD THAT I LIV FOR MORE THAN MY BABY'S BABY... @misslivalittle"

Armageddon star Liv is thought to be around seven months pregnant. The New York-born brunette, who has a ten-year-old son called Milo with Spacehog musician Royston Langdon, is expecting her first child with British sports agent Dave Gardner.

Dave, who is a close friend of David Beckham, has a seven-year-old son named Grey from his marriage for British actress Davinia Taylor.
