Congratulations to Fearne Cotton – the star has announced she is expecting her second child with husband Jesse Wood. The 33-year-old revealed her pregnancy on Friday, telling fans: "I have some news…"
In a statement on her official website, Fearne wrote: "Jesse and I are very happy to announce we are having another baby. I feel extremely blessed and happy that Rex will be a big brother, and we get to welcome another Wood into the world."
However that wasn't the only news that Fearne had to share – she also revealed that she would be leaving her job at BBC Radio 1 after ten years presenting for the broadcaster.
"It has also been a time of big decisions and one I want to share with you now. After much time and careful thought I have decided to leave Radio 1 after ten amazing years.
"I have had the most incredible decade broadcasting on Radio 1, meeting wonderful people, helping break artists and watching live music from the world's best."
Fearne added that it was time for "a new chapter" and signed off the message telling her fans, "Here's to family and new adventures."
News of Fearne's pregnancy may not come as a complete surprise to some. It has been widely speculated that the television presenter is expecting her second child since January, when Keith Lemon suggested that she couldn't attend the National Television Awards because she was pregnant.
"Thanks to all the team at Celebrity Juice," said Keith after accepting the gong from Kris Jenner. "Thanks to Holly [Willoughby] and Fearne, allegedly one of them is pregnant that's why they're not here tonight.
"That's an exclusive," he added.
Speculation also grew after Fearne presented an award at the Brits on Wednesday wearing a loose fitting mini dress, with many fans writing on social media that she was "glowing".
Fearne and Jesse are already parents to son Rex Rayne Wood, who turned two in February.
