New mother Zoe Saldana has given a rare glimpse at her home life with her baby twins. The actress, who welcomed her twin sons with husband Marco Perego in November, joked that their days are now "filled with twin action".

Zoe posted a photo on Instagram showing her husband holding two baby seats and struggling to fit through the door to exit the house.

"Our days now are filled with #twin action! Seriously, the 3 of them couldn't get through the door at the same time. We couldn't stop laughing. #bliss", she wrote.

The 36-year-old is evidently enjoying motherhood and previously gave the first glimpse at her sons Cy and Bowie in February. Both Zoe and Italian artist Marco held one son each in a baby carrier while they enjoyed a family hike together.

"It's a #family affair! #Twins #Fullhouse" she captioned the image.

Zoe and her husband of two years appear to be happier than ever since the arrival of their twins, and she posted a touching Instagram message to him on Valentine's Day, thanking him for being "the most precious creature in my universe".

The couple were also said to have looked loved-up at a family meal to celebrate Zoe's mother's 59th birthday in February.

Despite taking time out from the spotlight to look after Cy and Bowie, Zoe made a striking return to the red carpet for the Oscars in February. The actress looked stunning in a custom Atelier Versace gown, just three months after giving birth.

The Avatar star is set to return to work soon to star as the classical pianist Nina Simone in the biopic Nina, and she will also play Uhura in Star Trek 3 which is due for release in 2016.
