Helen Flanagan has kept a low profile since announcing her pregnancy in December, but on Friday night the former Coronation Street star was dressed to the nines to attend The Mirror Ball in Manchester.

The actress, 24, looked stunning in a tight blue dress which showed off her blossoming baby bump. The mum-to-be was pictured cradling her baby bump as she posed for photographers before making her way into the party.

Helen Flanagan is six months pregnant

Although the actress, who is dating footballer Scott Sinclair, has not been pictured at events for several months, she has kept fans up to date with her pregnancy on social media.

In the last month she has revealed that she is enjoying going for regular swims and also shared her pregnancy cravings.

"I have a really strong pregnancy craving for @NandosUK. Mushroom and halloumi burger and peri chips. All I want to eat.," she revealed to her half a million followers on Twitter.

The star confirmed that she was pregnant on 22 December. "Me and Scott are expecting our first baby in the summer. We are both so happy and so excited xxx," she revealed.

It is Helen's first pregnancy with partner Scott Sinclair. The pair have been dating for six years, although they split briefly in 2013.

Helen, who also starred on I'm A Celebrity, has made no secret of her desire to start a family. "I've always wanted to be a young mum and I now feel ready," Helen told Closer magazine earlier this year.

"It's something I've wanted for ages and Scott's going to be a great dad. I just hope it doesn't take me too long to get pregnant. And I'm not bothered about getting married beforehand."
