Shakira's son Milan is growing up so fast. The singer proudly shared an adorable video of her two-year-old little boy learning how to read on her Facebook page on Friday. In the clip, Milan can be seen sitting in his high chair reciting words in Spanish as his mummy points to them on a white board. Showing off an impressive vocabulary for his tender years, the toddler reads out words including padel (paddle), casa (house) and gol (goal) – the latter presumably in honour of his footballer father Gerard Pique.

"Reading together – love these #mommymoments. Share yours!" 38-year-old Shakira captioned the clip, which has proved to be a big hit with her followers and has more than three million views. Shakira and her long-term partner Gerard are now the parents of two little boys, following the arrival of Sasha Pique Mebarak on 29 January. Last month, the Colombia-born singer proudly introduced her newborn to her fans, posting a close-up snapshot of her baby son. She later posted a picture of Sasha with proud daddy Gerard.

Sources confirmed to HOLA!, HELLO!'s sister publication, that Grammy Award-winning singer Shakira had given birth on 30 January 2014. She delivered her son in Barcelona, where the famous couple have lived for the past few years. The official introduction to Shakira and Gerard's new bundle of joy came on 2 February after she revealed a glimpse of the tiny tot's left foot on Instagram, which showed Sasha's tiny little pink toes and the white hospital band still wrapped around his ankle.
