Sam Worthington and Lara Bingle are reportedly celebrating the arrival of their first child together, a baby boy. Model Lara, 27, welcomed the new arrival at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles with Avatar star Sam by her side, Woman's Day magazine reports. A spokesperson declined to comment on the news, and it is not yet known what the Australian celebrity couple have decided to name their baby boy.

Lara and Sam, 38, were last seen together on 19 March shopping at a vintage market in Malibu. While Lara has never publicly confirmed her pregnancy, her baby bump has been visible in recent months. It was first reported in September that the notoriously private couple were expecting a baby, and in January Lara's growing tummy was seen for the first time while the pair were on holiday in Palm Springs. It is also believed that Lara and Sam were married in secret over Christmas, with reports sparked by Lara's decision to change her Instagram name to Lara Bingle Worthington. The new parents have been dating since September 2012, and friends and family say they are very much in love. Last year, the blonde beauty relocated from Sydney to New York with the Hollywood action star.

Sam will soon reprise his role as Jake Sully in the upcoming sequels to Avatar, the highest-grossing film of all time. Director James Cameron has announced that he intends to make three Avatar follow-ups back to back, with the second sequel scheduled for release in 2017. Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver are also confirmed to return, reprising their roles as Neytiri and Dr. Grace Augustine respectively. "Jake Sully is a rare combination of passion, strength, street smarts and soul, which requires a lot from an actor. Sam brought to the role a combination of sensitivity, vulnerability and strength," James said of the return of his leading man. "Zoe captured every aspect of the character I envisioned, brining Neytiri a mix of delicacy, fierceness and incredible physicality. I am beyond pleased they'll be returning with us to (Avatar planet) Pandora."
