Carrie Underwood has shared the first photo of her baby son Isaiah Michael – and it seems the tiny newborn is already taking after his hockey player father Mike Fisher. In the adorable snapshot, little Isaiah can be seen peacefully sleeping with his fingers curled around a Nashville Predators hockey stick, in honour of Mike's team. "The predators are in the playoffs," Carrie, 32, captioned the picture. "Just waiting to get called up! #PutMeInCoach."

Carrie and Mike welcomed Isaiah, their first child together, on 27 February. The award-winning country singer happily confirmed his arrival a few days later, sharing a photo that just showed her newborn’s tiny hand. Carrie and Canadian NHL star Mike married in July 2010 in Georgia in front of more than 250 guests. The pair started dating in 2008 and got engaged the following year.Earlier this month, Mike opened up about fatherhood. "There's nothing better than being a dad," the 34-year-old told NHL.com. "Obviously the most important thing is everyone is feeling good and mum's feeling good. "We're definitely blessed to have him join us in our lives. There's no better feeling."

Carrie revealed she was pregnant in September 2014, and two months later, she and Mike discovered they were expecting a baby boy. At their request, the doctor wrote down the baby’s gender and put it in an envelope – they decided to open it together at a restaurant."(It was) just the two of us in a nicer setting, but we both knew," the former American Idol winner told ABC News Radio. "So, that was just confirming our suspicions. We didn't really speak of it before, because we were both just like, 'Whatever. It's all good.' But we knew it was a boy. "Once they knew they were expecting a son, the couple started thinking about possible baby names. "We'll start throwing things out but it's difficult," Carrie told E! News in December. "I think we'll know when we know. It might even take meeting the little guy before we actually decide on something."
