Novak Djokovich had a special treat for fans following his win at the Miami Open at the weekend. The tennis champion shared the first photo of his baby son Stefan – his "most precious trophy" – after beating Andy Murray to take the title in Florida.Novak, 27, posted a photo on Twitter that shows him lying on his back during post-match physio, holding up his six-month-old son, who is resting on his daddy's tummy. "This little buddy is my most precious trophy!" Novak proudly captioned the shot. "No better way to end the day than with my family :)."

The Serbian sportstar and his wife Jelena Ristic welcomed Stefan, their first child, in October. Announcing the news on his Facebook page, Novak wrote: "Stefan, our baby angel was born! I am so proud of my beautiful wife Jelena. Thank you so much for your love and support. We love you all!!!"Sunday saw Novak take his fifth Miami Open title, having beaten Andy Murray 7-6 (7-3) 4-6 6-0. His victory wasn't the only talking point of the match.The world number one has publicly apologised to a ball boy and his parents after the shocked youngster was caught up in the crossfire when Novak shouted at his team having lost the second set.

Following his victory, Novak posted a video on his Facebook page, in which he said he wanted to "reflect on a bad moment that happened in the final against Andy"."I saw the replay," said the tennis star. "Unfortunately a ball boy was in the middle of it and I really, really feel sorry and regret he was there. There was absolutely no intention whatsoever to hurt him or scare him in any kind of way. I sincerely hope he forgives me. I really apologise. "Novak said that becoming a father had heightened his feeling of remorse. "I do care about children a lot right now and I look at it in a much different way," he added. "So I want to apologise to his parents for this situation as well. As a father, I wouldn't wish that something like this happens to my son. Again I sincerely hope you can forgive me and that we can move on. Unfortunately sometimes the emotions get the better of you."
