Charley Webb and her long-term partner Matthew Wolfenden are set to become parents again. The Emmerdale actress announced that she is pregnant with her co-star's second child, reaching out to her fans on Twitter with an amusing photo.

Captioning the snap "Here we go again #babynumber2," Charley shared a black-and-white image of herself and Matthew and their young son Buster.

In the photo, Matthew is seen holding up a sign that reads "Baby #2" and points it to his girlfriend's tummy.

Their five-year-old son Buster featured in the announcement too, striking a mock surprise pose in front of another blackboard that reads "Only child expiring... December 2015".

Charley and Matthew, who play Debbie Dingle and David Metcalfe on the ITV soap, have been together since 2008. The small-screen stars, who got engaged in 2009, welcomed their first son Buster in April of the following year.

In the summer of 2013 Charley and Matthew announced that they were separating, after reports surfaced claiming that the 35-year-old actor had been unfaithful.

The couple briefly split in 2013 but reconciled a few months after

At the time a spokeswoman for the show said: "Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden have confirmed that they have separated. They will remain friends and are focusing on their little boy."

Despite their separation the pair remained on friendly terms, with Charley, 27, stating that she "knew the truth" and that she and Matthew were still "really great friends".

They rekindled their romance and have since gone from strength to strength.

"It was never a permanent split," Matthew has previously told The Mirror. "We just needed some time apart. Sometimes life just gets on top of you. We had a 'terrible' two-year-old at the time and needed time to look at what we had, but it was the best thing we could have done."
