Jennifer Love Hewitt welcomes a baby boy

Jennifer Love Hewitt has welcomed her second child with husband Brian Hallisay. The Criminal Minds actress gave birth to a baby son on Wednesday that the couple have named Atticus James Hallisay, E! News has confirmed.The couple already have a daughter together, 19-month-old Autumn James Hallisay, who they welcomed in November 2013 just five days after tying the knot in a secret wedding ceremony.

Ahead of the birth, Jennifer and Brian spoke of their choice not to hire a nanny with their first child, and their intention to remain nanny-free with the arrival of their second. "We didn't have a night nurse, we didn't have a nanny," a heavily pregnant Jennifer told People magazine. "We haven't ever had any of that stuff. It's been really interesting to do it all ourselves. "In an interview with American Baby magazine in April, Jennifer said that pregnancy is "magical" and added: "I'm grateful. It's not lost on me what a gift it is to be able to get pregnant."

She also revealed how much she loves being a mother to little Autumn during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "It's really great," she said. "She smiles, she's walking, she's waddling like a little penguin, she's an over achiever just like me. It's terrifying! There's gates everywhere that I trip over. "Jennifer and Brian, who appeared together on the NBC show Love Bites, started dating in 2012 after reconnecting on the now-cancelled Lifetime show The Client List.They announced the news of Jennifer's second pregnancy in January, when they revealed they were "thrilled" to be expanding their family – but they kept the baby's gender to themselves.
