Congratulations to Sam Faiers who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Paul Knightley. The TOWIE star, who has been dating the property developer for nine months, is thought to be three months pregnant.

The couple are said to be "thrilled" at the news, with a source telling The Mirror: "They are really thrilled and really looking forward to being first time parents together."

Sam Faiers is pregnant with her first child

Sam met Paul at a bar in Essex in October, just weeks after she called time on her relationship with Joey Essex. The pair kept their romance quiet for months and were first linked after they were spotted kissing on a beach in Dubai in March. The following month Sam shared a simple photo of her and Paul holding hands, without giving any clues as to who her new man is.

The 24-year-old later opened up about the romance in the book Secrets and Lies: The Truth Behind the Headlines.

"I love that he's his own man," Sam wrote. "He's successful in his own right, really mature, he's not a loud mouth or attention-seeker or a big drinker. Most importantly he loves and respects me for who I am but still wants to look after me."

"He's so different to Joey in every way and I knew early on it had potential to be serious," she added. "It just works, he's normal and has no wish for fame, he's not even on social media! He's a genuine, down-to-earth guy who works hard for a nice life. I'm so happy".

The new arrival is set to have a little playmate in the form of Sam's sister Billie Faiers' daughter Nelly. Sam dotes over her little niece and recently shared a video of the youngster playing around on Instagram, writing: "Morning fun with my little nelly noo."
