Cara Kilbey shares pregnancy joy, six months after 'devastating' miscarriage

Former TOWIE star Cara Kilbey has announced her pregnancy, six months after suffering a traumatic late miscarriage. In an interview with Closer magazine, Cara revealed she is 22 weeks pregnant – and that she and her boyfriend Daniel, who she met while on holiday in Spain in June 2014 – are thrilled at the prospect of becoming parents. "I was so nervous up until the 20 week scan," admitted Cara, who was left devastated in March when she miscarried at five months. "I've been trying to relax and enjoy my pregnancy but there's always been a niggle of worry.

"Now I've got past that point and everything is perfectly healthy, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can start getting excited. "The ex-reality star continued: "Daniel and I knew we wanted to get pregnant again straight away so I was overjoyed when I found out I was expecting two months later…"I can see how something that traumatic can break up a couple. But we saw a different, more caring side to each other and it brought us so much closer."

She later added: "I'll never forget my first baby, it will always be part of our family. But now we can't wait to become parents. "Among the first to publicly congratulate Cara was her best friend Billi Mucklow. Cara and Billi both announced their pregnancies within weeks of each other last Christmas - Billi went on to welcome her son Arlo in June. "So Excited and Happy For @carakilbey," Billi, who is engaged to footballer Andy Carroll, wrote on Instagram. "Can't Wait To Meet This Bubba And Spoil Him Or Her With Kisses…"
