Ashlee Simpson is one proud mother. The 31-year-old, who is married to Evan Ross, shared an adorable photo of their two-month-old daughter Jagger Snow on Instagram on Sunday, saying that she is "pure love".

The sweet snap shows Jagger Snow lying on her back and gazing up, presumably at her mum.

"Yessssss!!! Baby we did this. Look at our lovely daughter!! #jaggersnowross. She is LOVE pure love!! @realevanross," Ashlee captioned the image.

Evan also shared the photo on his own profile, along with the caption: "#jaggersnowross I can't even explain the way she makes me feel!! Beyond words. LOVE. We did this baby @ashleesimpsonross."

The couple, who tied the knot in August 2014, couldn't be happier since they welcomed their baby girl in July. Ashlee and Evan first introduced her to the world in September with a sweet family photo that shows them gazing at her lovingly.

"We love her so much!!! She is beyond everything!!! I have the best baby daddy @realevanross in the world," Ashlee wrote alongside the image.

Meanwhile Evan has said that Jagger Snow is "the best gift in the world".

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in September, he explained: "I've been so wrong a long majority of my life. The biggest thing in the world is in love. I'm so in love. I love my daughter, I love my wife.

"She's given me the best gift in the world. I'm very lucky."

The Hunger Games star also revealed how much his life has changed since becoming a dad.

"She's the most beautiful thing you could ever think of," he said. "I'm proud to be a dad, and I'm going to make sure she knows she's loved, and that's all I can do."
