Jesse is Sophie and Richard's fourth son; the couple are also parents to Sonny, 11, Kit, six, and three-year-old Ray. The Murder on the Dancefloor singer had recently spoken of her excitement about the new arrival, telling the Evening Standard Online that she couldn't wait to meet her baby boy or girl.

"We're all getting excited," she said. "It's that weird feeling of, you don't know who it is but whoever comes along will change the dynamic of, not just our family, but the extended family. I just can't wait to find out who it is now."
