Sam Faiers has some happy news to announce to fans: she's given birth to her first child. The former TOWIE star, whose partner is handsome property developer Paul Knightley, revealed the news on Instagram: "Welcome to the world our beautiful baby boy? 29.12.15", she captioned a sweet black and white photo which showed the new parents holding the newborn's little hand.

Sister Billie was one of the first people to congratulate the new parents: "I am the proudest sister and auntie in the world @samanthafaiers1 and Paul ... I cannot describe my love for my beautiful nephew ... I love you all so much and I can't wait for all the wonderful time we are going to spend together with him and Nelly ... ???☺️???????," she wrote alonside the same snap shared by Sam.

The couple have been dating since meeting in a bar in October 2014. Sam began seeing Paul after the end of her on-off relationship to former fiancé Joey Essex.

The baby boy is a cousin for Nelly, the daughter of her sister Billie Faiers. The two children are sure to spend plenty of time together as Sam dotes on Nelly and enjoys their cuddle time. She was also there at the birth as one of Billie's birthing partners.

A family of her own has been on the cards ever since she met Paul. In her second autobiography, the TV star admitted that she didn't expect to find love so soon, after calling time on her relationship with Joey.

"I love that he's his own man," Sam wrote of Paul in the book Secrets and Lies: The Truth Behind the Headlines. "He's successful in his own right, really mature, he's not a loud-mouth or attention-seeker or a big drinker. Most importantly he loves and respects me for who I am, but still wants to look after me."
