Kelly Rowland's son Titan is growing up fast! The proud mum has shared videos of her one-year-old son taking his first steps on Instagram, as he joined her on the set of a photoshoot for Parents magazine.

The cute videos show 14-month-old Titan tentatively walking a few steps in a photo studio, while he can also be seen smiling as he plays with his mum in front of the camera.

In the accompanying interview Kelly opened up about how motherhood had changed her, saying it has helped her to control her obsessive compulsive disorder urges.

"I was nervous that I didn't have the patience to be a good mom, because before I had Titan I had zero, but now I am very patient," Kelly said, adding: "I don't make the little things into big issues like I once did. My OCD had to go out the window."

She added: "Being a mom just makes me feel whole".

Kelly said she feels whole since becoming a mother

Kelly welcomed her first child with husband Tim Witherspoon in November 2014 and has shared adorable photos and messages about her baby boy ever since, including a touching message to celebrate his first birthday.

"Happy 1st birthday my mighty Titan, life is so much better with you in it! I love you beyond words my son!! Love, Mommy #amazinghood," she wrote.

While Kelly previously turned to friends including Beyoncé for parenting advice, she now has some words of wisdom of her own to offer to new mothers who are struggling to lose their baby weight.

"Write on your mirror in lipstick: 'I had a baby. I'm a superhero'," she told Parents. "It takes about a year to get the weight off. Don't beat yourself up if it takes even longer."
