Cradling their tiny son just hours after he was born, Sam Faiers' partner looks at him tenderly. The beautiful entrepreneur and mum posted this picture of the little boy with her boyfriend Paul Knightley on Monday.

It's the first full image of their baby that she's shared since his birth on 29 December. Her caption read: "Look at those lips ?we can't help but just kiss him all the time".

In a traditional touch, the couple have called their son Paul Tony after his father – a name which hasn't gone down well with some unkind critics. In reponse the boutique owner posted a comment from one of her fans defending her choice.

Her supporter had written: "I wonder if they know what it feels like to carry a child for 9months, go through labour, be blessed with a healthy child, and have the honour of calling him after his father...

"And all they can think of is oh no Paul?!! I think it's beautiful and a real display of love on ur behalf for ur partner."

Sam thanked the fan saying: "Couldn't have put this in better words myself. Thank you x."

Rather focus on negativity Sam is throwing herself into motherhood and her growing family. The 25-year-old says her sister Billie and little niece Nellie have been to visit every day since he was born, adding: "She is going to be his best friend."

She and Paul have been almost inseparable since meeting in 2014. However, having a baby has brought them even closer and Sam is floating on air. Fans will be able to share their experiences of starting a family following their whirlwind romance in a new ITVBe special, Sam Faiers: The Baby Diaries.

The 90-minute programme will cover her pregnancy scans, baby shower and a home video footage taken during her labour.
