Congratulations are in order for Glee star Heather Morris, who has welcomed her second child with husband Taylor Hubbell. The actress welcomed a baby boy on Thursday, and later shared the first photo of her son on Instagram – as well as revealing his name.

"Owen Bartlett Hubbell 7lbs 3oz born 2.11.16… I can't tell you how amazing an experience to go from a caesarean and having a VBAC… but I did it with the loving help of my husband, Dr and family :) and of course this little guy."

The sweet photo shows Heather gazing down lovingly at the newborn as she lies in her hospital bed. Owen is sleeping soundly on his mother's chest, bundled up in a blanket and hat to keep him warm.

The baby boy is the second child for Heather and her long-term love Taylor – who welcomed their son Elijah in September 2013. The couple got engaged the following year and tied the knot on 16 May 2015 in front of their family, friends and Heather's co-stars.

Heather announced that she was expecting again in August, by sharing a photo of her tiny baby bump as she stood next to a large blue ruler that said: "The Growing Hubbells".

The former Glee star is also a mother to son Elijah, two

The 29-year-old has spoken openly about her joy at being a mother, telling E! News: "I love being a mom. Boys are the greatest, it's so fun."

She also chose not to return for the fifth season of Glee after welcoming her son Elijah, as she didn't want her career to interfere with her personal life.

"I want to have kids with him [Taylor]," she told Fitness magazine. "I love acting, but if it affects my relationship then I won't continue."
