Giovanna Fletcher has resumed work on her next novel less than a week after welcoming her second son Buddy Bob into the world. The HELLO! Online blogger took the opportunity to do some editing on her fourth book while the newborn slept, while making it clear she was "taking it easy" and not pushing herself too much.
Buddy Bob was by his mum's side as she worked, with Tom sharing a photo of the baby boy sleeping in his Moses basket next to Giovanna's desk. "Baby sleeps, mummy works," Tom captioned the photo.
Giovanna shared another photo of her own, showing her novel draft open on her computer with a smoothie and bagel on the desk to fuel her work.
"Back at it in the office… Bagel, smoothie, copyedit, and a sleeping baby next to me. Let's do this! Xxx #alwayswithlove #billyandme #billyandsophie #billybuskin," she captioned the image.
The post prompted many comments about what an inspiration and super mum Giovanna is, although some were concerned that she should be resting so soon after giving birth. However the mum-of-two was quick to reassure her followers that she would be "having a big nap" this afternoon, and isn't back at work properly yet.
"I work from home when writing so it's easier to slot in than having to head out somewhere," she explained. "I'm still sore. I'm still recovering. I'm just using my brain a little bit today! Xxx"
Giovanna and Tom welcomed their second child on Tuesday, and are clearly overjoyed at the new addition to their family. While Tom said he was "loving life right now" after becoming a father-of-two, Giovanna said she had been "enjoying cuddles" from her three boys since returning home from hospital.
The proud parents are quickly settling into their new life as a family of four, and are helping their eldest son Buzz settle in to his new role as a big brother. Tom shared a photo of Buzz wearing a "Big Brother" embroidered bathrobe on Instagram, and also gave the first glimpse at Buddy Bob on the social networking site.
The sweet black-and-white photo showed Tom holding his baby son's hand, although fans are still waiting in hope of a peek at Buddy Bob's face.
