Seth Meyers is a very proud daddy. The chat show host got a little emotional as he recounted the story of his son's birth during his Late Night monologue on Tuesday night. Seth, talked his audience through his first child's unexpected Easter Sunday arrival – which occurred two weeks before the due date – and revealed that the baby was in such a hurry to arrive, he was almost born in the back of an Uber cab.Speaking about wife Alexi Ashe's labour, Seth said: "She's on her knees on the backseat holding on to me. She was screaming out the window, 'I don't like this!'… Only in New York could you drive that way and not have people say that women has been abducted!" he joked.

The new dad also took the time to thank the couple's driver, Tyrique, saying: "You don't know how close you were to having a baby born in your Uber!"Seth then proudly announced the name of his newborn. "We named our son Ashe, which is my wife's maiden name," Seth explained. "I can't think of a better way to honour what she did. "The middle name is Olsen, which is my mother's name,” he added, getting visibly choked up as he spoke. "To be able to name him after those two women..."

Seth did want to make it clear that the choice of name had nothing to do with fellow celebrity Ashley Olsen. "A couple of people have said, 'Do you think people will think you’ve named him after Ashley Olsen?'" the 42-year-old revealed. "I said, 'Nobody will think that, I've long been a Mary-Kate guy,'" he joked.Seth and human rights lawyer Alexi, 32, announced their pregnancy in November. They were married in September 2013 in Martha's Vineyard.
