Anna Chlumsky has some exciting news to share. The Veep star and her husband Shaun So are expecting their second child later this year. The couple, who celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary on 8 March, are already parents to two-year-old daughter Penelope Joan, and Anna recently spoke about her "awesome" experience of motherhood. "I love it," the 35-year-old star told People. "She's becoming her own person and it's delicious to watch," she added of little Penelope.

"She's really fun and really sweet. And she's very determined. I love all those things about her. If she wasn't my daughter, I'd want to hang out with her still! She's really good company. "The actress added: "This whole thing has taught me that motherhood has a wealth of definitions and identities. There's no one way to be a mum or one way to be a 'good' mum."

Anna has appeared on Veep alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus since 2012, playing Amy Brookheimer. She first found fame as a child, appearing opposite Macaulay Culkin in the 1991 hit film My Girl, before returning for its 1994 sequel.
In February 2015, she was asked whether having her own daughter had changed her outlook on the iconic movie.

"Not so much," she told Entertainment Tonight. "It was three months of my life when I was 10. I think I have perspective on everything that has happened since that movie - on childhood and being a kid. She hasn't changed it any way. "I think I'm applying my perspective to raising her. I don't necessarily think kids need to be professionals. And I felt that way before her and it'll just apply, I think. "The star also said she hasn't thought about she will watch the film with Penelope when she's old enough. "Possibly. I just so haven't even crossed that bridge yet," she said. "I'm just trying to figure out how much we're supposed to let her use the iPad!"
