Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have proudly started to introduce friends and family to their brand new baby girl Luna Simone Stephens. Among those lucky enough to have met five-day-old Luna is producer Mike Jackson: "I've held baby Luna in my arms," Mike revealed this week. "She's absolutely beautiful."Asked who the new arrival looks most like, he replied: "I think (Luna Simone) looks like both of them. She's gorgeous!"

Mike also told Entertainment Tonight that Chrissy and John are adjusting well to parenthood. "They're happy. They're elated," he said. "It's a long time coming. They went through a lot to have this child. They're excited – we're all really blessed that she's a part of all our lives."

While little Luna is yet to make her social media debut, Chrissy returned to Twitter this week with a typically witty post. "To everyone asking, John is healing perfectly," she wrote to her 1.41million followers on Sunday.
She later added: "Thank you for all the well wishes!! We are so happy and excited! I dunno what to tweet now, does my Twitter change? This is so awkward."

Chrissy and John welcomed little Luna, their first baby together, on 14 April. Alongside an Instagram photo revealing the baby's weight and date of birth, Chrissy wrote: "She's here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy. "John also tweeted the good news to his fans, writing: "Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn't be happier!"

In February, Chrissy revealed that she had chosen to have a little girl during the IVF process. Explaining her decision to have a daughter, Chrissy said: "I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl. That excited me. "She added: "It excited me to see … just the thought of seeing him with a little girl. I think he deserves a little girl. I think he deserves that bond. A boy will come along. We'll get there too, so it's not like we really have to pick. But he definitely is very lucky to have a little girl. And this girl is going to be so completely lucky to have John as her papa — it's crazy!"
