Ooops! Ashton Kutcher accidentally revealed the gender of his unborn baby with wife Mila Kunis this week. The actor let the news slip during an appearance on the Today show as he spoke to host Savannah Guthrie about his growing family.

Savannah, who is also expecting her second child, began by asking Ashton how he and Mila – parents to two-year-old daughter Wyatt – are feeling about the arrival of baby number two.

"I thought the first one was exhausting in the beginning," the 38-year-old star admitted. "I'm a little terrified to be honest!"

The conversation then turned to how the pair are preparing Wyatt for her role as a big sister. "We're ok. It's really exciting," Ashton said. "She, like, points to Mila and she's like 'baby brother' when she points to the belly and then she points to Dad and she goes 'beer.’ So I think she gets there's something in the belly, but I don't quite think she knows that it's not going to be a plastic doll yet."

Mila's representative confirmed to HELLO! Online in June that the couple were expecting their second child together.

The news didn't come as a big surprise to fans - both Ashton and Mila, 33, have been vocal about their love of parenthood ever since they welcomed little Wyatt in October 2014.

"You think you know how much you love another person, and then you have a child and you realise you didn’t know," Ashton previously told Ellen DeGeneres. "I think I really look at this as the greatest opportunity of my life.

He continued: "But the most amazing thing about having a baby is my partner, Mila. She's the greatest mum – I can't even! Like, I go to work every day and I come home and she's perfect."
