Alex Jones glowed with happiness during her appearance on The One Show on Monday night.
The pregnant presenter showed off her blossoming bump in a snap posted on Instagram, joking that her unborn baby was "in charge" of hosting duties.
As she and Angellica Bell, who was standing in for Matt Baker, posed for a sweet photo on the iconic green sofas, Alex wrote: "Two girls and a bump in charge of the one show tonight with company from Eddie Redmayne and Katherine Waterston."

Alex has been keeping her baby bump relatively hidden, opting for loose-fitting tops and dresses, during her The One Show appearances. But a couple of weeks ago she showed off her growing bump in a tight black-and-white dress, writing: "The bump is gathering pace!!" Her fans have been just as excited about the impending arrival of her first child. Alex, 39, has even received handmade gifts from viewers.

"Thank you to all those kind and generous people who have knitted some gorgeous gifts for the new baby," she wrote alongside a photo of white-and-yellow cardigans. "These beautiful cardigans were knitted by Val. Thank you... such an effort and hugely appreciated." Alex and her husband Charlie Thomson announced their pregnancy news in September. They are expecting their little one to arrive shortly after their first wedding anniversary.
