Huge congratulations to Ronan and Storm Keating! The couple have announced they are expecting their first baby together. The new arrival will be the fourth child for the Boyzone singer and the first for his wife

Taking to her blog on Tuesday afternoon, Storm shared the happy news and said they were "overwhelmed with happiness". "On the 17th August in 2010, my husband and I became friends," she wrote. "On the same day five years later we became husband and wife. We're now very excited to announce that a year later (and again to the exact date) we became parents-to-be!! And so THAT'S why I passed on the mulled wine.

"Words cannot describe how overwhelmed with happiness we are. We feel so blessed to be adding another little Keating to the family and this news is like all of our Christmas wishes coming true. This Christmas we'll just be asking Santa to keep our baby safe and to spread some extra happiness and joy to you and all your families also."

At the bottom of her blog, she added: "PS: I already have so much blog content to share to other mothers and mothers-to-be... 'Hilarious stories, the reality of pregnancy and navigating through the endless range of nasty products to avoid when you have a little bub in your tummy etc. So much to share!!"

The pair - who married at the Archerfield House in East Lothian, Scotland, in August last year - originally met on the set of Australia's X Factor in 2012, when Ronan acted as a judge following the breakdown of their previous marriages. Ronan, 39, ended his 17-year-union with Yvonne Keating (with whom he shares Jack, 17, Missy, 15, and Ali, 10), while Storm, 35, divorced Sydney financial director Tim Ivers in April 2012.

Earlier this year, on their first year wedding anniversary, the Australian TV producer opened up about their plans for a baby. "Please God that it works out for us," she told HELLO! Magazine. "Ronan is a great dad. He is amazing."

"It feels like we were always meant to be together," added the Irish singer, who noted that their family dynamic has been made easier because his children "can see how happy I am. And it's about making them know they are loved."
