Richard Branson's reaction to becoming a grandfather to son Sam's newborn baby is absolutely priceless. The 66-year-old entrepreneur was overcome with so much emotion that he burst into tears while his daughter Holly filmed the whole thing. Taking to his social media sites, the Virgin tycoon revealed his joy at learning the happy news.

"We all love surprises in my family, and have a tradition of keeping the gender of our grandbabies a secret until they are born," he told his followers. "When baby Bluey was born, I accidentally let the cat out of the bag!" On Friday, his son Sam announced that he and his wife Isabella Calthorpe have welcomed their second child together, a baby boy they have named Bluey Branson.

Sir Richard went on to reveal how he accidently let slip the gender of the baby, as his daughter was waiting to find out herself. The businessman was in the middle of kitesurfing when he received a call to return back home. "I answered the phone to receive the news that Blue had just been born," he wrote on his website.

"As you can hear in the video, Sam, baby Bluey and I were all crying with joy. Poor Holly was waiting on to talk to Sam and didn’t yet know the news that Bellie had given birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy. In my excitement I let it slip before Sam had a chance to tell Holly himself. But as you can see, we were all absolutely overjoyed."

Sam, 31, took to his Instagram page to share a beautiful picture of his little boy posing with him and his father. In the caption, he gushed: "A special moment. 3 generations of B's! Wish you were here grandad... To be on the top!"

The new arrival is a baby brother to Sam and Isabella's daughter Eva-Deia, who turns two next month. Sam and Isabella - the older sister of Cressida Bonas - welcomed their first child together in February 2015, two years after the pair tied the knot in South Africa, in a romantic ceremony held at Sir Richard's private game reserve.
