The One Show host Alex Jones has shared an adorable picture of her new born son - revealing the little boy’s perfect tiny hand, clinging onto her finger. The sweet black and white baby photo was posted on Instagram on Friday, 3 February, less than two weeks after she gave birth. “My new obsession,” the devoted mum captioned the stunning snap. “#soinlovewithhim,” she added. As HELLO! reported previously, the 39 -year-old TV presenter announced the happy news that she’d had her baby live on her hit BBC show via a phone call on Thursday 26 January. Her son is her first baby with husband Charlie Thomson, and he was born in the morning of Sunday 22 January, weighing 7lbs 11oz.

Alex said that both she and Charlie have been in "heaven" following the arrival of their baby boy, adding that she was loving every moment of motherhood. “Our beautiful healthy little baby boy was born on Sunday. We are absolutely delighted and completely in love with him. It's the most wonderful feeling,” she told fans. “He was 7lbs 11oz – a lovely weight. It was all very straightforward. Charlie was with me and mum and dad were in the waiting room,” she went on.

“The last four days have been heaven. We're in this bubble the three of us. It's just the best time,” she added. The Welsh TV star also called on viewers to help suggest potential names for her newborn. "We're a bit behind on the whole name thing because we didn't know if we were having a boy or a girl," she said. "We thought, 'When we see him we'll know what he looks like', but actually it's really hard.

Alex announced her pregnancy in September, months after she admitted at a fertility conference that she feared she had left it too late to conceive.
