Jamie Vardy's wife Rebekah has opened up about her struggle with postnatal depression following the birth of her second child. The 34-year-old has two-year-old daughter Sofia and two-month old son Finley with Jamie, and son Taylor, six, and daughter Megan, 11, from a previous relationship. Appearing on Wednesday's Loose Women, the mum-of-four discussed the taboo over the subject of postnatal depression. "I think people in general after you've had kids they think you're a superwoman and there's never any issues," she said.

"It's a really taboo subject postnatal depression, there's a stigma they think it doesn't exist – it was after my second child. I couldn't get out of bed - it's very much real." Rebekah was joined on the panel with her youngest child, who she welcomed in January. She was seen breastfeeding him live on television as she discussed parenting. The TV star also revealed she has hired security after she was almost run off the road. "There’s been death threats, I had someone try to run me off the road the other day," she added.

"I don't like to point fingers but it was the time the manager got the sack. Jamie had enough and decided to tell the media he was getting drug tested when this supposed meeting took place – he had nothing to do with it. You can never take things for granted as you don’t know if someone will follow through with it. We've hired security - it can be quite intrusive sometimes." Even throughout her pregnancy, Rebekah has been the victim of online abuse. "It's horrible to read," she continued. "It was horrific, wishing stillbirth on him, really disgusting stuff, it is a minority of people… I think it's important to reply and highlight what they do." Jamie and Rebekah welcomed their second child together at the start of the year. They announced her pregnancy in July, just a few weeks after they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Peckforton Castle – as featured exclusively in HELLO! magazine.
