Exclusive: Jack Kidd expecting first baby with wife Rosie Tyser

April 3, 2017

Jack Kidd and his second wife Rosie Tyser are expecting their first child together, HELLO! Online can exclusively reveal. The former champion polo player and trained chef Rosie, who wed two years ago, are looking forward to welcoming a baby girl in August. It will be the first child for Rosie, 39, and the sixth for Jack, 43, who has four children by his ex-wife Be Kemeny and a son by former fiancée Callie Moore.

Jack told HELLO! Online: “We are over the moon that we have created this Highland blessing. The baby will be born in Inverness like her mother was.” Jack’s family on his father Johnny’s side are part of the Scottish Aitken clan and one of only four that can wear the Gordon Tartan, while Rosie’s family home is in Scotland. The couple had been friends for more than 21 years before romance blossomed after they met up again at a friend’s wedding. Two months later in February 2015, they eloped to the Caribbean island of St Vincent, where they “got married under the largest waterfall on the island in our beach shorts”, explained Jack, who also wore a top hat. They later celebrated with family and friends at a reception back in London at the Buck’s Club.

Since their wedding, Jack and Rosie have been based on a horse ranch near Marbella in Spain, where she runs a property business, but plan to relocate to the UK next month when the ex-international polo player formally takes up the role of manager and coach at Leadenham Polo in Lincolnshire. “I’m so excited to work with Leadenham and create a polo mecca for middle England. It has the potential to become one of the finest clubs in Europe,” said Jack, who has also just signed a three-year contract to play high goal polo at the Rhein Polo Club in Dusseldorf, Germany. “We will live between Inverness and Lincoln,” he added. “Rosie, who trained at the London College of Fashion, is also very happy to be back in UK. She’s a keen horsewoman, which is one of the main things we have in common.”

He said his parents Johnny and Wendy and sisters Jodie and Jemma were all “delighted” by the news: “My family couldn’t be happier about the baby and are thrilled that I’ve finally found my soul mate.”

Jack’s marriage to American heiress Be ended in 2006 and she now lives in South Carolina with their four children, Jaiden, 17, John, 14, Jackson,13, and Jaime, ten. Jack sees as much as possible of his six-year-old son Jesse, who now lives in Norfolk with former model Callie, who has since married hunt-master Toby Coles and recently gave birth to their baby son Merlin. “One of the main reasons I took the job at Leadenham was to be near Jesse and I’m also looking forward to having all my kids come and stay on the estate in the summer,” Jack told HELLO! Online.
