How time flies! Anne Hathaway's little boy Jonathan has just turned one, and to celebrate, the Hollywood actress organised the cutest party. Anne opened up about her son's first birthday party during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, saying: "We tried to keep it pretty low key, and we kept the theme just rainbows, which is a fun theme because it's hard to go wrong with it." She added: "But I made the mistake, I went on Pinterest and looked at other people's one-year-old parties. It's not fair what some people do, you know children have party planners, which is definitely not fair. Think about it. They blow it out."

Anne opens up about being a new mum

The new mum, 34, and her husband Adam Schulman welcomed their first child on 24 March 2016. The notoriously private star has kept her baby boy off social media and out of public sight, but last month, Anne shared the very first photo of her son on Instagram. The picture showed Jonathan standing in front of a laptop, watching a video of his mum deliver a speech at the United Nations on the importance of paid parental leave.

Anne Hathway and Jason Sudeikis star in Colossal

While the picture was welcomed by fans, Anne also recently revealed that she now regrets uploading the snap. She told Jezebel: "I had never posted a photo of my son, and I decided to post a shot of the back of his head, and almost as soon as I'd done it, I wished that I hadn't. I felt like I had broken some kind of a seal in inviting people into my life. And even though I felt as though I had done it in as protective a way as I could, even though it was a moment I was incredibly proud of, I don't know that I'll ever do it again.

Anne reveals fame messed her up for 'a really long time'

"I'm a big believer that you gotta mess things up sometimes to really see them properly, so if I made a mistake or I messed up, I know how I feel about it much better now."

The actress is set to star in Colossal alongside Jason Sudeikis, who also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week. Anne spoke about having baby brain while filming, adding: "I'm really lucky, I said yes to the movie before I was pregnant and I memorised my lines early. But no, there were some days it was hard, it was."
