Zoe Saldana has admitted she was "shocked" after her friend and Crossroads co-star Britney Spears broke her news that she was pregnant with twins back in 2014. Zoe, who has three boys with her husband Marco Perego, said that she had been trying to be "discreet" about her news, but Britney accidentally spilled the beans the day after she was told. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, a caller rang in to ask Zoe how she felt after the Toxic singer made the disclosure, and if Britney ever apologised.
"I was shocked because we weren't ready to sort of share that, but it was Britney, so it was okay," said Zoe, clarifying that she didn't mean anything negative about "being Britney," rather, the singer "lives her life in such truth". She added: "Literally the way that it happened was so innocent that I never thought of holding her accountable for anything."

EXCLUSIVE: Zoe admits life with twins is 'fun' but 'overwhelming'
Zoe, 38, and Britney, 35, were on the same flight from Los Angeles to New York when the Guardians of the Galaxy star revealed that she was carrying twins. "She has two boys and I was having twins. We had a beautiful talk and I forgot. It never even occurred to me to tell her not to say anything," said Zoe. "We weren't trying to hide it, we were just trying to be discreet."
The day after the flight, Britney was asked by Entertainment Tonight if she ever considered doing another film with her friend. "Who knows? That's a very good idea," Britney said at the time. "But she's pregnant with twins right now. So I'm sure she's got a huge future ahead of her."

Zoe and her husband Marco tied the knot in secret in June 2013. The notoriously private couple welcomed their twin sons Bowie and Cy in November 2014, followed by another son Zen in February of this year. Zoe has previously spoken to HELLO! about raising her boys, saying that life with her sons is "fun" but "when you have twins, you get overwhelmed quite easily and really quickly". Luckily, Zoe has a circle of family and friends she can depend on. "We have a tribe," the Hollywood star said. "Whenever we're overwhelmed, you send out an SOS man. And they will cancel. They will find a nanny for their kids."
