Liam Payne has revealed his adorable nickname for baby son Bear. The One Direction star proudly spoke about his little boy with girlfriend Cheryl while meeting fans in Chicago for a Q&A this week, and disclosed that he sometimes calls the new arrival 'Cub'. Members of the public took to Twitter to share snippets of the conversation from backstage at B96 Radio Station on Wednesday. One wrote: "Here's my experience with Liam Payne… He doesn't remember what he last googled, he uses Air Pods and often gets mistaken for talking to himself. He loves In & Out Burger and Red Bull…"

She later wrote: "He made a human! His exact words: I made a human. I helped. She did the most **insert noise** only mothers would understand. He pointed to a mum, made the noise and said, 'You understand.'" Another fan added: "He said his proudest moment was Bear and said at first he called him Cub a lot."

Liam, 23, is no doubt missing Cheryl and their young son. He is currently in the middle of a promotional tour in the US to promote his new music. On Wednesday, he shared a funny video with fans taken on board his private plane, showing him dozing off in his seat, before bursting out into dance when one of his favourite tracks comes on. It's not the first time Liam has spoken about fatherhood. During an outing in LA last month, the pop star told fan Pedro Ramirez: "He's great, he's good. I love him and I miss him a lot."
