Liam Payne reportedly pushed back a trip to Japan so that he could celebrate his son Bear's first birthday on Thursday. The One Direction band member was spotted at Tokyo airport on Friday morning, meaning that he would have been able to spend most of the day with his little boy before catching a flight in the evening. Liam, 24, paid a sweet tribute to Bear on Instagram to celebrate the landmark birthday, writing: "Can't believe my little man is one today, where does the time go. Happy birthday son you're my world." Cheryl also thanked fans for their birthday wishes, tweeting: "Thank you so much for all of your beautiful birthday wishes for Bear. Have told him he has lots."

Cheryl has been planning her comeback to music, and has been working with producer Naughty Boy, who chatted to HELLO! about her baby son. He said: "I haven't met him but Cheryl is always showing me pictures - and he's a little cutie. I think he looks like both of them, you know when a kid looks like both their parents combined." Speaking about whether their new music could focus on her relationship with Liam, Naughty Boy said: "We are working on music but I didn't say which relationships will be on the track though. It could be a mother and son relationship - like it could be about baby Bear."

Liam recently opened up about his romance with the Girls Aloud band member following reports that their relationship was strained, telling ES Magazine: "The funniest thing was a week before we were getting married. The next week we're splitting up. And the thing for me is, I just like to think we’re somewhere in the middle. You know, we have our struggles — like of course I'm not gonna sit here and say that everything's absolutely fine and dandy, because of course you go through different things, and that's what a relationship is."
