Congratulations are in order for Joss Stone and her partner Cody. The 33-year-old singer has announced she is expecting their first child, revealing the news on her podcast, A Cuppa Happy.

Joss was chatting to author Ella Mills, also known as Deliciously Ella, who is heavily pregnant with her second baby. "Guess what? I am going to have a little baby too!" Joss told her celebrity guest.
"I am so excited to talk to you because I don't know many pregnant women. I am week 17 and I just stopped being really sick all the time. I'm feeling okay. Isn't it mad when you've got someone growing inside of you? Jeez."

The singer added: "My boyfriend kept saying to me: 'Pain is temporary. Temporary, it is temporary.' I was like, 'Oh my god it is horrible. Leave me alone! I am just going to cry.'"

The mother-to-be also opened up about her fear of giving birth, saying: "I woke up in the middle of the night – randomly – and I was like: 'Oh my god I am really scared!' I just got really terrified of having to push it out." "It's fine, honestly," said Ella. "It is terrifying, but I got really obsessed with birth and I found hypnobirthing incredible."

Joss is in a relationship with her American partner Cody, and while the chart-topper tends to keep her private life out of the spotlight, Cody has made a few appearances on Joss' Instagram.

Earlier this summer, the Right to Be Wrong singer shared an amusing video of the couple on a road trip, killing time by having an "accent war". The pair disagreed on how to pronounce "mashed potato", with Cody taking the mick out of his girlfriend's British accent.

Two fellow famous faces who will be overjoyed to hear about Joss' pregnancy are royal brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry. The singer has been friends with the royals for over a decade. In 2014 she became an ambassador for Sentebale, the charity co-founded by Harry that helps disadvantaged children in Lesotho and Botswana.
"I love those guys," she previously told HELLO!. "We all feel the same about doing our bit to help others. Whenever they ask me to perform, I'm there. We're incredibly lucky to have them and I'm proud to think we can have a relationship that can do some good."
