As Mother's Day approaches, Kate Hudson opened up to 1stDibs about growing up with Goldie Hawn as a mother, being a mother herself, and what she admires most about her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa.

The star had her first child, Ryder Robinson, when she was 25, with The Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. Since, she's had Bingham Hawn Bellamy, ten, with Matt Bellamy, and Rani Rose Fujikawa, three, with her fiancé.
Though she is of course a stellar actress, the adorable video, shot by Danny, proves that the role that fits her best is definitely being a mother. Kate admitted how after having had 18 Mother's Day, she doesn't quite remember life before motherhood.

She endearingly said that: "I've been a mom my entire adult life, I was very young when I had Ryder and so I don't remember my life not being a mother… I think it's the best role in the world. I feel so honored that in this lifetime I get to do that."
When asked how her fiancé honors her on the special day, she revealed just how special he makes it, not just for her, but for Goldie and his own mom as well, saying that: "He does the best Mother's Days and celebrates me, and my mom, and his mother."
In turn, when he was asked what he admires most about her, he had a heartfelt answer about her as a mother, expressing how what he admires most is "her ability to prioritize being a mother in the midst of your insanely chaotic life."

The clip also featured an adorable interruption from their daughter Rani, which prompted her mom to reveal the adorable tradition that she had with her mom that she does with her own daughter now.

When the two puckered their lips and gave each other a kiss, the How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress asked her daughter: "Do you know I used to do that with Gogo?" revealing the sweet nickname they have for her grandma.

Rani adorably made a point of proving just how well she knows the tradition, answering with a soft, "Yeah," and when the star explained how she used to ask her mom for some lipstick and she would pucker her lips at her in return, her daughter adamantly replied: "I know that mama."
Fans couldn't help but gush over the family video, writing: "Rani Rose is so adorable!" and: "You're just going to keep being adorable as the years continue to pass, aren't you? Just like your mom!" as well as: "This couldn't be sweeter."
