She explained: "When I was 27, I worked on a film about fertility and the consultant said that age my age I'd be an 'elderly prim', which means an older first-time mother. This was a decade before I even thought about having children. I've never forgotten those words because they were so ugly."

However, since that incident, Kaye didn't pay attention to being an 'older mum'. "I didn't dwell on my age because that doesn't achieve anything," she told the publication.
Giving hope to other women, Kaye explained: "Your eggs will drop off after the age of 35, but that's not to say you'll never have a child."
Kaye made a rare comment about her daughter in a funny video
In 2020, Kaye shared a tongue-in-cheek video asking her eldest daughter Charley to return home from university to help with the online shopping and cooking. " Anyone else feeling the pain of having a child heading off to university. I'm finding it a HUGE upheaval for one reason which is having quite an unpleasant impact on the whole family..." she penned with the funny video.

Kaye shares her daughters with her long-term partner, tennis coach Ian Campbell. The couple have been together for 26 years but are not married.
While they have no plans of tying the knot, Kaye spoke to the Mirror in 2016 and admitted: "If Ian wants to pop the question and I get a decent ring and a good holiday out of it I wouldn't say no!"
Kaye has a longterm partner called Ian
Speaking about when they first met, Kaye explained: "When we first met Ian was in his late 20s working as a tennis coach, spending half his life in Italy and half in Scotland, and he was not a man going to settle down."
Kaye and her partner live in Glasgow, and she travels down to London to appear on the hit ITV show.
