The video begins with baby Jacob, now three, lying on a bed and screaming his head off while Mike attempts to sing him Carrie's song, I Still Believe In You.

With Jacob still wailing, Carrie's voice then belts out from behind the camera as she takes over the singing duties – and within seconds, Jacob stops crying and is stunned into silence as he turns his head to gaze at his mom.

Mike then resumes singing and once again, Jacob is in floods of tears before Carrie quickly takes over and he immediately stops crying again.

"In honor of @vincegillofficial's special night, here's a flashback to one of my favorite baby Jake moments," Carrie captioned the incredible video, referring to legendary singer-songwriter Vince Gill's CMT Giants special which aired on Friday.

Giving a rare insight into what her home life is like away from touring, the award-winning star told Zane Lowe on Apple Music in 2020: "I do have two incredible boys and my husband, and we live on a farm, and I kind of got to maybe get back to some of my roots by not being on stage for a minute."

She added: "I got to be outside so much, and I got to work in the garden and just be a mom and be a wife and be at home. It's the most I've been still in over 15 years."
