Salma Hayek is a proud mom on cloud nine as she celebrates how quickly her daughter, Valentina, has grown.

The actress took to social media to pay a sweet tribute to her daughter on her milestone 15th birthday with a compilation of photos and videos.

She included two pictures of a young Valentina, one in bed, fast asleep, and one eating a big smiley face cake with a rainbow painted on her head.
What came after were two clips which looked to be more recent, featuring the now 15-year-old dancing up a storm at a party with her loved ones.
Valentina, usually rocking brunette locks like her mom, sported a much lighter do in honey blonde, but it was still apparent that beauty ran in the family.

Salma lovingly penned: "Happy fifteen years to my beloved quinceañera. Valentina, you are my everything, thank you for lighting up our lives with the strength of your wonderful spirit. It is a privilege to be your Mom. I love you with all my heart."
Many of the star's followers shared their birthday wishes for Valentina, however, one of the first to do so was Blake Lively, who let everyone in on a secret.
Salma shared a sweet tribute to her 15-year-old daughter
"I took that second photo [heart emoji] my baby!!" she commented, revealing the extent of their long and relatively low-key friendship.
One fan even sweetly wrote: "Congratulations Valentina! Be proud to be the daughter of an extraordinary woman who has changed this world for many Hispanic women," which touched Salma.
The mother and daughter duo share an extremely close bond, with Valentina also being close with her father and Salma's husband, François Henri Pinault.

The two recently appeared together for the first time on the cover of Vogue Mexico and discussed even having their own secret language – Spanish.
"When we are with more people I like [speaking Spanish] because it's a secret, because no one speaks Spanish, I speak French with my dad," Valentina shared.

Her mom added: "I speak to you in Spanish if I don't want those around you to understand us. In addition, I think it strengthens unity, the family bond, strengthens the bond we have."
