Since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes divorced in 2012, after six years of marriage, many have wondered where his relationship with his daughter Suri stands.
The former couple welcomed their first and only daughter, who celebrates her 17th birthday later this month, on the first year anniversary of their first date, April 18, 2006.
Following their shocking divorce, Katie got full custody of their daughter, and they now live in New York City. Although Tom agreed to pay his ex-wife $400,000 a year in child support until Suri turns 18, he hasn't been publicly seen with her since 2012.

While Katie and Tom rarely, if ever, comment on their past relationship, none other than Brooke Shields gave rare insight into just how estranged the Top Gun lead is from his youngest child.
The supermodel recently spoke with People amid the release of her highly-anticipated documentary, Pretty Baby – out on Hulu April 3rd – and inadvertently revealed Tom has cut Suri out of his annual Christmas card.

The revelation came about when the actress was reminiscing over the fact that she used to receive Tom's Christmas cards, which famously includes a $126 coconut bundt cake made by Doan's Bakery in Woodland Hills, California.
Though Brooke confessed she no longer receives neither the cake nor the card, she recalled: "It was from them and Suri, so it was the three of them."

She then added: "Then soon it was no Suri and no Katie and just Tom," and that: "Then it went from just Tom for a while, but not every holiday. And then the cake stopped."
Brooke and Tom have a long history together, both good and tumultuous. In 2005, the actor criticized Brooke for taking antidepressants for postpartum depression after the birth of her first child, Rowan, 19, to which she responded to with an op-ed in the New York Times.
A year later however, Brooke was invited to Tom and Katie's 2006 wedding at Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, Italy, and just a few months before, her youngest daughter Grier, 16, was born on the same day and at the same hospital as Suri.
