Sports presenter Seema Jaswal, 38, welcomed a new member to her family team with the arrival of her first baby, Ava Lily. "We're getting used to having her in our lives," Seema told HELLO! on our exclusive shoot and interview, "And giving her endless cuddles and getting lost in her baby smell."
Just as doting is her husband of 12 years, Ajay, 44, who works in property, who was was by her side to cut the umbilical cord when Seema, 37, gave birth by Caesarean section on 22nd February at UCHL hospital, an experience she describes as "the most magical and beautiful".

"I'll never forget the surgeon saying, 'Wow, look at her lashes – I've never seen anything like it," says Seema of the birth. "She has her dad's lashes, and my hands and feet. The moment she was placed in my arms, I was still lying on the bed with the surgeons stitching me up. I could have been there for hours and wouldn't have noticed. I've never felt anything like it – it was instant love, an instant connection. I don't think anyone can prepare you for that moment, the rush of love you feel. It's just, 'Wow'."
A familiar face to millions as host of the Premier League global coverage, Seema was busy throughout her pregnancy, working right up until a week before the birth, and presenting live matches for ITV in Qatar during the World Cup while seven months' pregnant. She's even returned to work this week – just for two days – to front the Champions League coverage for BT Sport.

"I'm cherry-picking what I do and don't want to do, but my number one priority is Bubba and being with her," says Seema, whose ultimate ambition is to present a football World Cup final." Now I have my own little girl, I want to encourage her to dream big, be fearless and make her life the best adventure."
