Priyanka Chopra has had quite a momentous trip back home to India, but what made it even more special was the presence of her daughter with husband Nick Jonas, one-year-old Malti Marie.

The trip was not only Malti's first to India, but also her first overseas excursion with her jet-setting parents, who've already made several high profile appearances during their visit.

The Bollywood star was able to carve out some time to spend solely with her daughter, and the way she decided to commemorate their trip was incredibly meaningful.

Priyanka took her daughter to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, one of the largest places of worship in the city for the Hindu deity Ganesha.

She shared a pair of photographs from their holy trip as she and Malti sought the blessings of the deity, adorned in a shawl with sayings from the Bhagavad Gita and getting symbolic tikas (marks) on their foreheads.

"MM's first trip to India had to be done with Siddhivinayak's blessings," she captioned her post, being inundated with a flurry of heart emojis from her friends and followers.

It has been a busy time for the family-of-three, with Priyanka and Nick attending the opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre over the weekend alongside other stars like Zendaya, Tom Holland, and Penelope Cruz.

The 40-year-old has also kicked off the promotional trail for her upcoming epic spy franchise Citadel, set to debut on Amazon Prime on April 28.

She was joined by her co-star Richard Madden for a pair of press stops and conferences in Mumbai along the way.
