Strictly stars Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez are preparing for the birth of their second child, but ahead of their new arrival they headed on a family holiday.

On Saturday, Gemma shared a video, recorded by Gorka, that showed her enjoying some time on the beach with her daughter. To the tune of Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World, Gemma and Mia ran around in the sand, before running away from the waves. At one point, the actress lifted her daughter as the waves came in to make sure that her feet didn't get wet.

The Strictly Come Dancing finalist had her baby bump on full display in the video alongside a multicoloured bikini top and black bikini bottoms.

As ever, Gemma kept it real in her caption, as she shared: "I bought some beach trousers to wear on this holiday, because even though I'm aware why it's happening and how clever my body is, I've never been as swollen, bloated, uncomfortable in every day tasks and had as much cellulite in my life.

"My boobs alone are 3 cup sizes up! 2nd pregnancy, almost 4 years older and with a little boy this time it's been a lot harder on my body. (I know how we feel about our bodies is relevant to the individual and it's just how I currently feel in MY body). I got to the beach on day 1 of this holiday, looked at Mia playing and I suddenly felt relaxed. It dawned on me if I kept them on that she'd ask why I'm in trousers and I thought about the negative effect it could have on her down the line me saying 'because mummy's legs & bum are a lot bigger than usual.' I don't ever want her to feel like she should cover herself, especially on the beach!"

But despite some issues with body confidence, she reflected that the family had been making "incredible memories" and shared her joy that the next holiday she takes will be as a family-of-four.

Her fiancé, Gorka, was incredibly supportive of his beloved as he told her: "You look perfect to me," a sentiment that was echoed by This Morning presenter Alison Hammond.

A second added: "Spot on and just wow.. you are blooming and it's a joy to see!!" and a third commented: "You look lovely, just as good as your pre pregnancy body. Gorka thinks you're perfect, Mia thinks you're perfect and your little one thinks the same. So that's all that matters. Enjoy! Have a lovely holiday."

She also shared a heart-melting photo of her daughter Mia, three, resting her head on the bump, as she penned: "Impossible to hide my belly any longer. I've officially 'popped.' Our baby boy will be joining our family later this year.

"We feel so incredibly blessed and grateful to be on this journey again. Mia is absolutely thrilled! Although we may need to do some negotiating on names, as so far she's adamant he's going to be called Barbie."
