Royal fans got a treat over the weekend, as they were served up some stunning photos of the royal family reuniting for the Easter Mattins service – but it's fair to say that Prince Louis stole the show.

Princess Kate and Prince William's youngest son has gained a reputation for being cheeky in public and pulling faces for the cameras, much to the amusement of watchers. His Easter debut alongside the likes of his siblings Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, seven, and his grandparents King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla was no exception. See more of his best moments below...

WATCH: Prince Louis' best moments revealed

The four-year-old was pictured at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle on Sunday 9 April at the annual service dressed in cornflower blue shorts, a navy blazer and a royal blue tie.

While his smart outfit blended in with his family's – with Kate wearing a cobalt blue Catherine Walker coatdress and Charlotte rocking a navy coat – he ensured he stood out from the crowd with his hilarious facial expressions.

Louis may have only been spotted for minutes before entering the church, but he wasted no time giggling and playing up for the cameras – when his royal mother wasn't watching, of course! Take a look at all the tot's cheekiest photos…

And it wasn't long before we saw his tongue poking out, which royal fans may remember from his playful antics at the late Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

Louis appeared to roll his eyes as he bit his hand, perhaps to stop himself from giggling.

He looked deep in thought as he nibbled his nails and observed his surroundings.

And the nail-biting hadn't ended when his parents stepped outside the church following the service! Could it be a sign of nerves for the usually confident royal?
