Is it a girl for Rihanna? The singer has kept mum over her second pregnancy since announcing the news during the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show, but new photos appear to show the Barbadian superstar giving fans a cryptic hint... or not.
The 'Lift Me Up' singer was snapped browsing a children's boutique in Los Angeles on Wednesday April 12 and the pictures, obtained by the Daily Mail, show that her companion was holding a pink knitted onesie. While assuming that pink is only meant for baby girls and blue only for baby boys is more than a little old-fashioned, the clothing item nevertheless sparked speculation about the future child's gender.
Rihanna and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, are awaiting the arrival of their second child after the singer made history with her surprise announcement as she became the first woman to perform the Halftime Show while pregnant. She already shares a son, born back in May 2022 with A$AP Rocky; the couple were first romantically linked in the summer of 2020.
However, although the star has shared a few rare glimpses of her little one on social media, the 'Diamonds' songstress has yet to confirm her son's name.
During her recent interview with British Vogue, Rihanna – whose home was recently under threat – opened up about her pregnancy cravings and revealed that she is fond of eating tangerines sprinkled with salt.
"It has to be with salt and only with salt because in Barbados we take our fruits to the ocean and soak them. Trust me, it really is a thing," she said.

She has also developed a sweet tooth, adding: "I usually hate desserts, but all of a sudden you come close to me with a chocolate-covered donut and you've got my heart forever."
Discussing motherhood, the hitmaker described it as "legendary," telling the magazine that she doesn't "remember life before".
"You literally try to remember it – and there are photos of my life before – but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don't identify with it because you don't even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because… because it doesn't matter," she said.
